Alabama women’s basketball guard Sarah Ashlee Barker has been named to the 2024-25 Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Women’s College Player of the Year Watch List, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Monday.
Barker, who is entering her graduate season with the Crimson Tide, is one of 13 SEC players to be named to the preseason list. Other players include:

Barker started 33 games last season for the Crimson Tide, chipped in 16.6 points per game, and was named First Team All-SEC. The Birmingham, Ala., native and former Gatorade Alabama Girls Basketball Player of the Year enters the 2024-25 season with 1,132 career points and was named to the Preseason First Team All-SEC list by the coaches and media polls.
