Tigers pick up their fourth tournament win of the season with a 814 across 3 rounds
The Auburn men’s golf team picked up its fourth tournament win of the season on Saturday at the Mason Rudolph Championship in Franklin, Tennessee. After starting the week eight shots back of the lead, the No. 2 Tigers fired a 16-under par (268) score on Saturday to win the tournament by five strokes.

“Very proud of the way our guys adapted and responded in adverse conditions,” Auburn head golf coach Nick Clinard said. “That type of focus and maturity will be of great benefit to us during the postseason. We’ll need more of that if we want to make a run deep into May.”
While originally scheduled as a three-day event, the tournament was reduced to two days of continuous play due to area flooding. Ole Miss finished second in the tournament (819), Vanderbilt finished third (825), and Kentucky finished fourth (840).
Auburn’s Jackson Koivun shot 13-under par, with rounds of 67-66-67. Carson Bacha fired a 12-under (68-67-66), and Brendan Valdes finished two back of Koivun with a 70-66-66 (-11) across three rounds.
Overall, the Tigers finished the Mason Rudolph at 38-under par (814). It marks the team’s third win in the last four events.
Auburn closes the regular season at The Invitational at The Ford, set for April 14-15 at The Ford Field & River Club in Savannah, Georgia. TG
