Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week and wide receiver Ryan Williams earned SEC Freshman of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Milroe earned the recognition after his performance on a national stage against then-No. 2/1 Georgia on Saturday. The honor is the second in as many games for Milroe, with the redshirt junior quarterback picking up SEC Offensive Player of the Week recognition following the Tide’s 42-10 win at Wisconsin on September 14.
The league honor is the fifth of Milroe’s collegiate career.
Williams was dubbed SEC Freshman of the Week for the second time this season, as Alabama has now received six weekly honors through four games.
