Booker Selected SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week

The weekly league honor is Booker’s third this season and fourth of his career

Alabama’s Tyler Booker was selected as the SEC’s Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

The accolade, following the 28-14 victory over Auburn in the Iron Bowl, marks Booker’s third SEC weekly honor of the season and the fourth of his career.

Against Auburn, Booker helped the Tide accumulate 457 total yards and 28 points, opening holes for 201 rushing yards against a defense that was allowing only 110.2 yards per game. The Tide scored four rushing touchdowns on the afternoon and allowed just one sack of quarterback Jalen Milroe.

For the game, Booker earned a team-high 92 percent grade from the coaching staff and produced a team-leading nine knockdown blocks from his post at left guard. In addition, Booker did not allow a sack or pressure on the afternoon.

The junior guard was also tabbed as SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week this season following the games against Missouri and LSU.

In addition to Booker, the other player named as SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week was Tennessee OG Andrej Karic.

Monday’s recognition marked the 11th weekly honor for the Crimson Tide from the league in the 2024 season. TG
