Auburn Adds Home-and-Home with Arizona

The Auburn University men’s basketball program has scheduled a home-and-home series against the University of Arizona.

The first game of the two-game series will take place on Dec. 6, 2025, at the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona. The return trip to Auburn has yet to be determined.

The powerhouse schools have played on two occasions previously, both at neutral sites. The first meeting was in 1986 during the first round of the NCAA playoffs, resulting in a 73-63 Auburn victory. The second meeting occurred in 2018, when the Tigers defeated the Wildcats 73-57 at the Maui Invitational.

Both teams are currently ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll and the ESPN Coaches Top 25 Poll. Auburn sits atop the nation in both polls, and Arizona is ranked No. 22 in the AP poll and No. 21 in the coaches poll.

Auburn has also included in their 2025 schedule a rematch against Purdue at the Fourth Annual Indy Classic on Dec. 20 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. TG
